image003-webShe’s bringing booty back and moving her way up to number one. Meghan Trainor’s platinum-selling debut single “All About That Bass” truly is the “song of the summer,” topping the Billboard Top 100. The song has also reached #1 on the iTunes Overall Top Songs chart, Spotify, Shazam, Amazon MP3 and Google Play as well as fifty-six million-plus views on YouTube/Vevo. Trainor’s rise to #1 marks the second debut #1 by a female lead artist this year, following Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy.”

The twenty-year-old singer scored her first publishing deal at eighteen and has written tracks for country group Rascal Flatts and reggae band Common Kings. Inspired by several genres of music, Meghan comes with her own unique, bold and catchy sound that blends ’50s throw back, hip-hop and classic pop.

The break-through pop star is quickly rising to stardom and has already appeared on Live With Kelly & Michael, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which you can see below, and today she will be a guest on the premiere week of The Ellen Degeneres Show. This week also marks the anticipated release of her debut EP, Title. The four track EP features “All About That Bass,” “Title,” “Dear Future Husband” and “Close Your Eyes.”

Keep your eyes and ears open for this bubbly blonde because she is quickly moving to the top. Trainor’s first full length album is set for release later this year. And if you haven’t seen her video for “All About That Bass” check it out here. It is sure to get you dancing and singing along.
