Baton Rouge, LA – September 1, 2010 – Scene Magazine has opened a second office at Second Line Stages, New Orleans’ premier film and television studio.
“Second Line Stages is the epicenter of film and television activity in New Orleans,” says Kevin Barraco, editor-in-chief. “It’s an honor to be the only on-site publication at such an exclusive film facility.”
Second Line Stages is located at 800 Richard Street in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans, just five minutes from the French Quarter. Since opening its doors early this year, it has hosted Warner Bros’ Green Lantern, Nu Image/Millennium’s The Mechanic, the independent films Mighty Fine and The Fields and is currently hosting Warner Bros’ The Lucky One.
“We’re very excited to have the state’s premier entertainment magazine on the lot,” says Trey Burvant, Director of Operations. “It’s a natural fit. We look forward to a longterm relationship.”
Second Line Stages is New Orleans’ only full service soundstage facility purpose built to the exacting standards of the motion picture industry. Built to the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Silver Certification standard, studio operations are designed to enable cleaner, smarter, more responsible physical production practices.
