The cast for the new country music biopic I Saw The Light is coming together. Elizabeth Olsen has joined Tom Hiddleston in the upcoming film, the story of country singer Hank Williams’ rise to stardom.
The film marks a return to Louisiana for Olsen, who shot Oldboy in New Orleans in 2012. Shooting in Shreveport will be sort of a “full-circle moment as far as Williams’ legacy is concerned.” Williams started his early career on the renowned Louisiana Hayride radio program, which originated from the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium.
